MIT Invited Fernando Fischmann to Speak on Innovation with Worldwide Impact

Fernando Fischmann was invited to give his vision and knowledge as an innovative leader in the 17ª MIT Conference in Cambridge, Massachusetts, one of the oldest and better known venues between the conferences organized by American business schools.

Crystal Lgaoons’ creator spoke along with other prominent international businessmen such as Adriana Cisneros, CEO of Grupo Cisneros; Luis Fernando Samper, of Colombia’s National Cofee Growers Federation; Woods Staton, Chairman & CEO of Arcos Dorados (NYSE:ARCO); among others. In earlier versions, the conference has had the participation of renowned leaders such as Carlos Salinas de Gortari, former President of Mexico; Álvaro Uribe, former President of Colombia; Michel Temer, vicepresident of Brazil; and José Miguel Insulza, Secretary General of the OAS, among other leaders.

The activity aims at promoting discussion on how governments and enterprise can promote more growth and socioeconomic inclusion via innovation and changing the quality of life of the middle class worldwide. In Crystal Lagoons’ specific case, there is also MIT interest from the real estate angle on the work of this innovator in solving important problems for humanity such as energy generation, water shortage and the contamination of the planet.
