Americas press: Crystal Lagoons’ technology among the top systems for the reutilization of rainfall

28 July, 2017 / News

Sustainable technology developed by water-innovation multinational company Crystal Lagoons has been recognized by the press in the Americas as one of the most efficient systems for the reutilization of rainfall.

Crystal Lagoons’ contribution to the preservation of the environment has been highlighted once more, this time for the reutilization of rainfall in their world famous crystal-clear lagoons, which in recent years have become the world’s top amenity for real estate projects.

The company’s technology is truly sustainable, being able to use 30 times less water than a golf course, half the water of a park, 2% of the energy required and 100 times less chemical products than conventional filtration systems. Furthermore, these amenities can use any type of water: fresh, salt or brackish.

Even more impressive, in rainy areas, they can use rainfall to totally compensate natural evaporation. Therefore, these manmade lagoons must be filled with water just once in a lifetime.

In recent years Crystal Lagoons has developed a state of the art technology for evaporation control that can even lower water consumption by 70%.

Crystal Lagoons is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size crystal clear lagoons at very low costs.
