Crystal Lagoons Breaks Ground on its First Project in Texas

11 October, 2017 / News

Crystal Lagoons U.S. Corp. Executive Vice President, Kevin Morgan, was in the groundbreaking ceremony of the first project that the multinational innovation company develops in Texas.

Called Balmoral, the development is located in North East Houston and will feature a 2-acre crystal clear lagoon that will be the centerpiece of the project. Its opening is scheduled for the first half of 2018.

For this project, Crystal Lagoons has partnered with the Houston-based developer Land Tejas, with which will also develop a second project in Houston, in an undisclosed location that will be announced in the coming months.

“Texas is going to be our biggest market,” Morgan said. “It has a stable economy, large land opportunities and a growing population.”

Both communities, valued at over $1.5 billion, will feature approximately 2,100 and 4,000 single-family homes, respectively, and $600 million to more than $1 billion in projected home sales.  Each community will also feature a Beach Clubhouse with areas for water sports, such as kayaking and stand-up paddle boarding, as well as white sandy beaches surrounding the lagoon.

Crystal Lagoons is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size crystal clear lagoons at very low costs.
