24 May, 2019 / News

Located in the vicinity of Buenos Aires, Argentina, close to the beaches of Pinamar, La Mansa is one of Crystal Lagoons® newest projects to feature one of the multinational’s paradisiacal lagoons. It will include several other amenities as well as bring important benefits for the development of the local community.

The lagoon, which is currently in construction phase and will be the development’s main attraction, will be surrounded by 10,000 m2 of beaches, recreating a piece of paradise of turquoise waters and white sand beaches, recreating a magical atmosphere in the area.

Thanks to Crystal Lagoons technology, the lagoon uses 100 times less chemicals than conventional pool treatments, consuming only 2% of the energy used by the filtration systems. It will also comply with the demanding international physicochemical and microbiological standards to ensure water quality, which consumes up to 30 times less than a golf course and up to 50% less than a green area of the same size.

Native flora and fauna

The La Mansa megaproject has incorporated several components that adapt to and respect the environment in order to mitigate the impact on the land and protect local species that inhabit the area.

Crystal Lagoons is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size clear water lagoons at very low costs.
