Crystal Lagoons Innovation and Technology Wins Its 2nd Guinness World Record

A clear example of this is San Alfonso del Mar, the project that won the company its first Guinness World Record, which was originally planned as a 400 unit development. However, after the implementation of Crystal Lagoons® technology, which enabled the creation of a 19-acre crystalline lagoon facing the sea, the project was so successful that the master plan had to be modified to incorporate a development of 1,400 units around the lagoon, causing initial sales process to soar.

The construction of an oasis in the middle of the desert, using brackish water won the company its second Guinness World Record. Today the world’s largest man-made crystalline lagoon is situated in the famous Sharm El Sheikh tourist resort, 5km from the Sinai desert.

Crystal Lagoons is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size clear water lagoons at very low costs.
