Crystal Lagoons® Partner Announces Sales Record: 800 Units In One Month

Despite the difficult times ahead worldwide, Balwin Properties, a leading real estate developer in South Africa, has reported more than 800 units sold in March. This constitutes not only a record for the company, but on a national level. The firm first partnered with Crystal Lagoons® in 2018, when they launched their first joint development. Known as The Blyde, the real estate development is anchored by a crystalline lagoon with unique technology, which produced a sales boom due to what is known as the “lagoon effect”.

Steve Brooks, CEO of the African company, conveyed the news this week and emphasized that this could constitute a sales record for South Africa. However, this is not the only milestone the partners have seen.

Given this sales success of The Blyde, undoubtedly associated to the Crystal Lagoons amenity, the companies announced at the beginning of this year an exclusivity agreement for five additional projects. Each will be anchored by these impressive bodies of clear turquoise water and will be built across South Africa, specifically in Johannesburg, Pretoria, Mbombela, KwaZulu-Natal on the Dolphin Coast and the Western Cape province.

Munyaka, the most luxurious project of all, was praised by the nation’s president, Cyril Ramaphosa, who attended the launch of the development. He applauded the development‘s magnitude, despite the current economic conditions in South Africa.

“I firmly believe in promoting the development of infrastructure in our country and this shows me that it can be achieved, even in adverse economic conditions such as those we are currently experiencing,” said the country’s leader, before guests attending the event organized in early March.

In fact, its concept and technology, patented around the world, have been highlighted by various means, since they have changed the real estate paradigm of “location, location, location“, becoming the world’s top amenity. They have also been relieved for adding great value to real estate projects, in which residents can enjoy beach life within walking distance of their homes, even on interior land and within urban areas.

Crystal Lagoons is an American multinational innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size clear water lagoons at very low costs.
