Crystal Lagoons and UC Berkeley Award Entrepreneurship Scholarships

The multinational of innovation Crystal Lagoons, founded by Fernando Fischmann, and UC Berkeley announced the winners of the “Crystal Lagoons- Berkeley Scholarships 2014” initiative for innovative business ventures, which seeks to promote entrepreneurial talent.

The winners of this activity were Carlos Rohrer, founder of Terviu, company of digital recruitment management by reference; Andrés Vergara with the platform for customer interactions classification Wholemeaning, and Rodrigo Andrews, with his biotech firm Amniofilm, a membrane tissue reconstitution manufacturer. They will travel on August 16th to the United States to participate in the intensive program “Skydeck – Global Venture Program (GVP)”, focused on the “Method of Berkeley Entrepreneurship (BME)“, enhancing its commercial launch, under the concept “Go to Market“.

The jury consisted of renowned figures of innovation as Fernando Fischmann, founder of Crystal Lagoons, along with Ikhlaq Sidhu and Ken Singer, directors of the Center for Entrepreneurship & Technology from Berkeley.

The scholarship program is funded entirely by Crystal Lagoons with the aim of contributing to the entrepreneurial human capital and employment in South America. “We have confirmed the impact of innovation on employment generation. In only 5 years, our projects have opened more than 10 thousand jobs only in South America,” said Fernando Fischmann, founder and President of Crystal Lagoons.

Crystal Lagoons Corp. is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, that has developed and patented technology that allows for the low-cost construction and maintenance of unlimited size bodies of water in crystal-clear condition.
