People interested in buying a home in Medley at Mirada toured the new active-adult community and spent the day exploring Crystal Lagoons® emblematic amenity in the nearby Epperson community in Wesley Chapel. Local media, such as Patch.com, have spotlighted how Crystal Lagoons patented water amenities of unlimited size are an important selling factor for home buyers.

Lennar’s Medley at Mirada, built for residents 55+, celebrated its grand opening in July and will feature the Tampa Bay area’s third and largest crystalline lagoon. Because the amenity at Mirada is under construction, interested homebuyers were shuttled to the Epperson Lagoon to experience first-hand what they can expect when the Mirada Lagoon is complete.

“Medley at Mirada is the perfect fit for active-adult buyers who want a coastal lifestyle in west-central Florida, and the Crystal Lagoons is a big part of that experience,” said Mike Bachman, Director of Sales of Medley by Lennar. “We’re happy to take our customers to the Epperson Lagoon so they know exactly what they can look forward to when the Mirada Lagoon is open.”

At nearly 15 acres, the water amenity planned for Mirada will be the second-largest in the United States. Similar to the 7.5-acre Lagoon at Epperson, Mirada’s lagoon will feature a beach, swim-up bar, and kayak and paddleboard rentals.

“Home buyers want much more than a home,” Bachman said. “They also want a wide range of exciting amenities and activities to keep them engaged.”

Crystal Lagoons is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size clear water lagoons at very low costs.
