Fernando Fischmann is named Businessman of the Year

The inventor of the Crystal Lagoons concept and technology was awarded due to his success in more than 60 countries of the world.
Giving recognition to the ability and dedication of the private and public sector in different investment projects and initiatives that represent a contribution, both from the business perspective and their contribution to community,
is the objective of the “Best Businessman” award given annually by Diario Financiero that this year was given to Fernando Fischmann.
Fischmann’s business success and Crystal Lagoons’ technological innovation, with its explosive growth in less than five years, were some of the reasons DF’s readers had to choose this innovator for “Business of the Year”.
The recognition to the creator of the world’s largest swimming pool adds up to another two awards: Best Innovator-given by Avonni- and Best Entrepreneur –promoted by Ernst & Young-, becoming that way the first Chilean entrepreneur that obtains all three awards.
Crystal Lagoons Corp. is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, that has developed and patented technology that allows for the low-cost construction and maintenance of unlimited size bodies of water in crystal-clear condition.
