6 August, 2019 / News

Engineering News-Record (ENR) provides the engineering and construction news, analysis, commentary and data that construction industry professionals require to do their jobs more effectively. It has a history that can be traced back to 1874, and reports on the top design firms, both architects and engineers, and the top construction companies as well as projects in the United States and around the world. Once a year, it awards industry leaders and leading projects. It has recently selected Crystal Lagoons® amenity in Florida, known as Epperson, which currently functions as a 7.5-acre Public Access Lagoon™, also known as PAL™.

The project received Award of Merit in the Sports/Entertainment category.

Crystal Lagoons, a multinational water innovation company that develops crystalline lagoons of unlimited size, only recently inaugurated the lagoon in Wesley Chapel, just 40 minutes outside of Tampa. As part of a closed condo, Central Florida’s innovative, paradise-like lagoon powered by the firm’s pioneering technology has witnessed overwhelming success since day one, and has even recently started functioning as a PAL, allowing the general public to enjoy the idyllic beaches via ticketed entry.

This year, the ENR received over a 120 project entries, a roughly 33% jump from a year ago.

Crystal Lagoons is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size clear water lagoons at very low costs.
