German Football Association Considers San Alfonso del Mar an "Indispensable" of Chile

San Alfonso del Mar, the world famous tourist project located in Algarrobo which features the first and largest crystalline navigable lagoon in the world developed with the concept and technology of Crystal Lagoons and current holder of the Guinness World Record, was considered by the German Football (DFB) as one of the essential icons that the German organization wants to know from Chile, beyond football.

The publication in the official website of the DFB occurred within the football match played between that country and Chile in Hamburg. Next to San Alfonso del Mar, the list considered by the organization includes Easter Island with its moai, the Atacama Desert, the legend of Moby Dick, among others.

With an area of 8 hectares, a length of over 1 km, a maximum depth of 3 meters and a volume of 250,000 m3, San Alfonso`s crystalline lagoon allowed the international consolidation of Crystal Lagoons, which explosive growth in less than five years includes a bulging folder of 300 urban, tourism, public and industrial projects in 60 countries at various stages of development.
