Middle East Press Highlights Crystal Lagoons’ Projects

Renowned magazine Construction Business News, specialized in the important Middle East construction sector, recently published an extensive three page feature on Crystal Lagoons that highlights the projects by the innovation multinational in the region.
The feature, centered on an in depth interview with Carlos Salas, Crystal Lagoons Middle East Regional Director, highlights the 12.5 hectare crystalline lagoon of the CityStars Sharm El Sheikh project in Egypt that won the Guinness World Record for the world’s largest artificial lagoon.
The article stresses that Crystal Lagoons currently has a total of four active projects in Egypt, a country that has “a very ambitious tourism and hotel pipeline”.
Today, Crystal Lagoons is present in Egypt with the CityStars Sharm El Sheikh project and the Swanlake North Coast and Porto Lagoons projects in the Mediterranean coast close to Alexandria; in addition to Porto Golf Marina, a US$345 million mixed use project that will include an 18 hole golf course.
Crystal Lagoons is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size crystal clear lagoons at very low costs.
