Public Access Lagoons To Become Meeting Spot of 21st Century8 November, 2019 / News
Crystal Lagoons®, the multi-national water innovation company with a portfolio of over 2.000 patents in over 190 countries is rapidly expanding around the globe. Having previously conquered the real-estate market, the firm is now setting its sights on another business model: Public Access Lagoons (PAL). These amenities can be accessed by the general public via ticketed entry.
Public access lagoons bring turquoise waters and white sand beaches to the city, allowing developers to create idyllic beach life just steps away from people’s homes while generating a new business with unprecedented profitability through ticketed entry to the lagoon. This innovative concept has been patented as a system and business method by Crystal Lagoons.
For years, different water treatment technologies have been applied in large bodies of water, with the objective of achieving good quality, such as the use of ozone, aeration and movement of water, enzymes, biological equilibrium and fish, among others. However, none of these methods have managed to create large bodies of crystalline water with high transparency and microbiological quality.
For this reason, Fernando Fischmann, founder of Crystal Lagoons and biochemist by profession, created a sustainable technology method and system that allowed him to build and maintain large crystalline lagoons with excellent water quality at very low costs.
As an additional advantage, the lagoons can capture direct rainwater, reducing the amount of water needed to compensate for the loss by evaporation, and in some locations of intense rainfall, it is estimated that the lagoons can be refilled only with rainwater, practically without requiring additional water.
Crystal Lagoons is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size clear water lagoons at very low costs.
