Tampa Bay Times has reported on Crystal Lagoons’ first U.S. project, being discussed during the Pasco Economic Development Council’s third annual meet-the-developers breakfast, in which 130 brokers, bankers, engineers, small business owners, land-use lawyers and others networked and received updates on four developments, including Metro’s Epperson.

In the meeting members discussed about new developments and their luxury amenities, including the “most high-profile amenity is the 7.5-acre Crystal Lagoon that is under construction.”

Crystal Lagoons U.S. Corp held a VIP “Unveiling” Event earlier this month to celebrate the first Crystal Lagoon in the United States in partnership with Metro Development Group. The first Crystal Lagoon in the U.S. will be part of the first “Smart Gigabit Community” in the United States to be built from the ground up.

More than 125 guests attended the event, including Pasco County Commissioners and other key government officials.  Crystal Lagoons U.S. Corp CEO Uri Man, along with Metro Development Group’s President Greg Singleton and Vice President of Operations Kartik Goyani, spoke during the celebration.   Media had the opportunity to see the size and outline of the 7.5-acre crystal clear lagoon from a tethered hot air balloon, as well an experience a Crystal Lagoon at the Virtual Reality station.

The 7.5-acre crystal clear lagoon will be the centerpiece amenity to more than 1,000 new homes as part of the Epperson community in Wesley Chapel, Florida.  The lagoon will be surrounded by shores of resort-style fun and tropical relaxation complete with a water slide, a dock for kayaking, paddle-boarding and small sailboats.

Crystal Lagoons is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size crystal clear lagoons at very low costs.
