Fernando Fischmann has a vision: to make it profitable to develop idyllic beach life anywhere in the world.

The Chilean biochemist and property developer has developed a patented technology that lets him and his commercial partners create clean water lagoons in even the most inhospitable locations.
His idea could significantly alter the way that holiday resort developers assess the merits of investing in sites away from the sea or near unattractive coastlines.

“Everyone told me it was impossible to have what I dreamed about, this crystal clear water. So as a scientist I developed the technology myself,” he tells Telegraph Business Club.
