Departures.com, an American website specialized in travel and lifestyle, has spotlighted Crystal Lagoons® latest development in Miami. Known as Solé Mia, thenew 184-acre mixed-use master plan community located in North Miami between Biscayne Boulevard and Oleta River State Park, is anchored by 7-acre clear water, swimmable, man-made lagoon called Laguna Solé.

Luxury developers will do just about anything to secure buyers (…). But one new Miami apartment complex is taking this idea to the next level by giving residents access to a private island”, begins the article.

The first-of-its-kind in South Florida, the private lagoon brings waterfront living to a part of Miami far from the ocean. The crystalline lagoon is the size of21 Olympic-sized pools and emulates the Caribbean waters. It also boasts a private island and white sand beaches. Just as you would in the ocean, you can paddleboard, kayak, or simply lounge next to palm trees in the lagoon right on your doorstep.

“The unique project is said to be the ‘future of our planet,’” according to the article, which highlights the pioneering, sustainable technology for which Crystal Lagoons is known for. The Miami Herald also called it a “neighborhood game changer”.

Crystal Lagoons is an international innovation company, founded by scientist Fernando Fischmann, which has developed a patent-protected technology that allows the construction and maintenance of unlimited-size clear water lagoons at very low costs.
